After my third UCLA geocache was muggled and a nearby cache was archived, it was time for a new hide.
You are looking for the usual Altoids tin in north campus/Sculpture Garden of UCLA (Sorry south campus!). Please hide better than found and remember that this is a letterbox and the (store-bought) stamp and stamp pad are NOT trading items.

The cache is not hidden at the posted coordinates. However, the location (between Bunche Hall and the Public Affairs building) offers a campus map that will help you find the starting point about 500 feet away. Most Bruins are familiar with the starting point so you can also ask for help. For a less muggly experience, searching on weekends, holidays, early mornings or late afternoons are recommended.
1) Start at The YRL.
2) Face the Woman in Latin.
3) Look for a sign of the Podocarpus Family.
4) Go down the stairs.
5) Look for a right step that will crack the case.
Maps, parking and transportation information for UCLA. Parking at Lot 3 (see GC22TDZ) or 5 is suggested.
