Geocache Description:

BYOP! This cache is dedicated to my favorite car as well as all of the people out there that take time out of their day to help brighten the lives of others. Easy Park and Grab! Small lock n lock container. Should be easy to find. Perhaps it may help you with your cache a day streak :)  Please let me know if the coordinates are off, this is my first cache placed and all constructive criticism is welcome.

This is my first cache placed (so take it easy on me please).  I wanted my first cache location to be of significance to me and hold true meaning.  Although this location may not appear significant to anyone else, I will never forget it. This cache is dedicated to my favorite car I have ever owned, my Subaru Forester. A few weeks ago when it was -36 (with the windchill) I was driving in this area and my car slid sideways while attempting to stop at the nearby intersection. My car came to a brief stop in the oncoming lane before a snow-plow truck hit me. My car was totaled and I was devastated. I was forced to stand by my car in the middle of the intersection for over an hour while the police completed their accident report and the tow truck arrived. This may not have been miserable if I was dressed for the occasion. On this day it was record-breaking cold and I was dressed in Spring-time attire (I never said I was smart). I had on a light coat, no gloves and worst of all flats with no socks. Miserable would be an understatement. My favorite car ever was destroyed and I was possibly suffering from hypothermia.

Just when I began cursing the year 2014 entirely, amongst the traffic rushing by a car came to a stop next to me. A teenage girl stepped out of the car and took off the gloves that she was wearing and handed them to me. One gray and one red. It was obvious that her car did not have heat and that she was possibly just as cold as I was but she insisted that I take the gloves. In the middle of this horrible moment, where the world appeared dark, a complete stranger took the time out of their day to help make mine a little better. I will forever be grateful for this person who made me realize how fortunate I am and that good people still exist.

So not only is this cache dedicated to my little red wagon but it is also dedicated to the wonderful human being who restored my faith in the world. If you are given the opportunity to make someone's day a little brighter, please do so. You never know how powerful your small gesture could be to someone else.
