In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Thousand Oaks, I am placing caches at two locations that served as City Hall sometime during the City’s first 50 years. There are two other locations in addition to these two that already have caches placed in the vicinity by other COs and one location that is not accessible to the public.
The building at this location was the fourth location of City offices and served in that capacity from March 1993 to August 1994. In September 1994, City Hall moved to its current location at 2100 E Thousand Oaks Blvd in the Civic Arts Plaza; across the street from the Gardens of the World and next door to The Lakes.
It can get very busy here so beware the muggles and use the appropriate level of stealth. Please replace and cover at least as well as you found it so it will last awhile.
