I went on my first geohashing adventure near here and on my way out the door, I grabbed a ready geocache I had laying around. I decided to memorialize my first geohash with a geocache! This isn't super close to the actual hash, because I couldn't hide it on private property and I had grabbed a larger cache.
This cache will require some bushwacking and probably a little zig-zagging. Because I hid it in the winter, I don't know what sort of vegetation is around, I'll stop by late spring and check it out. If you stop by before then, I would not be surprised if there are thorns/poison ivy around, so be careful!
I have permission to hide this from the landowner, though I'm not sure they understood what Geocaching was, they said it was okay for people to go a little bit into the woods as long as they weren't hunting and weren't going to harm anything.
