We have an evening of events for you to show your prowess at :-
Wellie chucking ...... Fling a welly the furthest ....
Haggis Fling ...... Get that Haggis as far as it will go !.
Caber Tossing . ...... championship currently held by a Welshman (can you believe that ???)
Carryooot Sprint ..... Practice for catching the last bus ( with a case of beer under your arm )
Tug of war ..... pick your team ... 4 Adults 1 Juvenile plus red faces .
Or just bring a folding Chair and have a laugh
Traditionally Hog roasts are served ..... nope ...not this time ...Killie pies ,and peas/ beans.

We need to explain that the caterer for the event will need a weeks notice to pre-order , so you'll need to order your pie in advance from our "Shop"and bring along a print of the receipt. thanks
p.s the bar in the racquet hall will be avail if weather is unkind .
The camping event will be held in Eglinton Park Kilwinning, and can be reached from the A78 , it has bus connections at the Park entrance and railway stations ~ 2 miles away
There are two camping pitches on the site , one with hard-standing suitable for caravans and motor homes , and a rally -field suitable for tents
We will be installing 2 portable shower blocks to augment the existing facilities and installing 2 "silenced" diesels for the week.
In addition to the day room which will be available to us , we will have the use of the racket hall from Wed. , where a bar will be operational from 7:00 - 11 :00 p.m.
There are no restrictions on visitors, and no visitor charges ,so come along anytime.
Eglington Park is a spacious park which attracts dog walkers; horse riders; and cyclists ; there is also coarse fishing available .Additionally the "Tournament cafe "
is open daily serving hot food and coffee. Also we'll be bringing in caterers to provide hot food for any one who wishes.
For Families , there is an enormous play -park ( adjacent to the camp site ) offering hours of fun for the wee and big weans .
This is the only area of the park where dogs aren't permitted .There are no restrictions anywhere else , all you are expected to do is behave responsibly .
Many of the events planned for the week are centered around Eglinton, so you won't have far to travel.
Booking and Pitch Allocation
WE will accept provisional bookings from Saturday 25th January and as there are limited electric hook-ups , these will be allocated in February .
The basis of accepting bookings will be based on length of stay, and on a first come / first served basis .
You'll receive confirmation in Feb of your pitch number,& if you've been allocated power.
Cost of pitch with electrics ..............£15 / night
Cost of pitch without electrics .........£10 / Night

There are very few rules concerning camping , though in the interests of sleep, the gate into the camping field will be locked to vehicular traffic from 23:00.
Parking for those coming in after this time will be at the visitor centre .
