Swatara Fossil Site is located within the 3,520-acre Swatara State Park that consists of rolling fields and woodlands in the Swatara Valley between Second and Blue Mountains. Swatara Creek is a popular destination for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and trout fishing. Swatara Rail Trail can be explored from Lickdale to the I-81 Pine Grove Interchange. Please abide by park rules and regulations. Hunting is allowed so wear orange during the season.
