Geocache Description:

This geocache is a small canister containing a log book Please bring own pen/pencil.

The Himalayan Yaks have created a trail of caches all around the Cowfold area. They are located near crossings, (for example this could be a bridge crossing a stream or a style crossing a fence or hedge.) Caches at water crossings will usually be a few metres away from the water itself, due to problems caused by flooding in heavy rain. Our trail has 7 caches in total; no.7 is a bonus cache, locked with a letter coded padlock. In order to open the padlock on no.7 and find a small prize you must complete numbers 1-6 of our trail first (they can be in any order). To find the code and open the lock you must collect the numbers or clues inside the lids of caches 1-6. You must then put your numbers in order from highest to lowest and use the decode at the bottom of this description to spell out the answer which will enable you to open no.7’s padlock. Once open, you will find inside a box filled with small prizes! All the caches are black boxes with a green tag. 4 of the boxes are small log caches, 2 are medium size prize caches, and 1 large final prize cache. Our trail will take you all over the pretty rural area surrounding Cowfold. All caches are on public footpaths, however you may sometimes pass through fields containing sheep, cows, horses, pheasants and possibly a few other humans! With this in mind please keep an eye on dogs and please remember to close gates behind you. Some of the caches are in places which can be slippery when wet. Whilst there is no need to actually go into any water to retrieve any of the caches, please take care and watch small children. Oh yes … and look out for muggles (non-GeoFolk)! Good Luck and we hope you enjoy our trail- Himalayan Yak 1 &and 2. 1=E 2=M 3=W 4=G 5=J 6=O 7=H 8=L 9=R 10=T 11=K 12=X 13=Z 14=P 15=A 16=S 17=F 18=D 19=Y 20=U 21=I 22=B 23=C 24=N 25=V 26=Q
