In 1916, the people of Wellsford wished to classified a third class city. Unfortunately, the town did not meet the minimum requirement of 250 residents. Undiscouraged, the people made a number of local dogs "citizens for a day," and Wellsford reached the necessary population level.
A quick Park and Grab just off the main highway 54 for another beautiful spot to enjoy. All cachers alike will enjoy this find for a peanut butter jar sized container.
