As fellow Beeler Boy 3rd&long and I were on our way up to 'FLIPPENGRUVEN', he remarked that he had three caches in the Goat Peak Hall of Fame. -And I realized I didn't have any! This is an embarrassing and shameful state of affairs, especially considering that I got the Silver medal in the HoF...
So! Last week 3rd and I had been exploring a new feature of our Android geocaching app (c:geo) and noticed that we could now show tenth-mile cache radius circles on our maps. We saw a nice, friendly, empty spot here in the Poway Badlands and visited it today. It's actually in an interesting location too, so I decided to end my (geocaching) shame here and drop a cache!
The name of this cache is a tip of the hat to Chuy!'s 'I C Goat Peak' hide, which was another battle in the HoF cache war that's waging in these parts. It's also a reminder of how 3rd and I saw CarlThePickle, Team Geo-Clarks, deniel3, Shadowlurker4, and goldennuggetz toiling below us while we waved to them after taking the shortcut to 'Outback Conundrum'...
We saw goat people!
