Geocache Description:


One caching tool that can come in handy is the cell phone. Phoning a friend (PAF) might just be what is needed to turn a frowny upside down. This series of caches will bring you to locations where you can see the cell sites that make your cell phone work. Each site defines a radio cell of its own. It may serve only a small area in urban areas to many miles in rural areas. All cells arranged together as a honeycomb form the mobile communications network that seamlessly allow cachers to communicate at the touch of a button. This cache is located at a trailhead to the recently opened Glacier Northwest gravel mine area.
