Geocache Description:

The Kalamazoo Nature Center is unrolling nature's carpet of green and brown for a caching extravaganza!  Event goes from 1-4pm. Over fifteen new geocaches are being placed for this event. There are multiple cache types planned as well as caches with varying difficulty and terrain ratings.

Spend the afternoon of June 7th at KNC geocaching!  Over fifteen new geocaches are being placed for this event, each with different difficulty and terrain ratings.  That means some caches will be easy to find, others might leave you puzzled, cause you to stretch your brains or even climb for some answers.  For those who use 3rd party stat builders, this is a great time to boost your "Most Well-Rounded Difficulty/Terrain Day" stats section.

Do you use (or want to use) 3rd party utilities to help manage and search waypoints? Join Russ at 3pm in the auditorium for an overview of the most relevant utilities and what they can do for you.  Bring any questions you may have, lets play "Stump the Expert"!

Regular KNC admission will be charged.  Adults $7, Adults 55+ $6, Children ages 4-17 $4, Children 0-3 and KNC members are free.

We will attempt to have a computer available to download caches to your GPS. Handouts will also be available with cache information.

The caches for this event will be published the morning of June 7, and anyone logging a find on this day is welcome to claim a shared FTF!

*Event update* Be prepared for a hike outside! Sunscreen, hats, water, bug/tick spray and hiking shoes are highly recommended.
