Logging in the Forest Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

inspicio: One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Should you like to resurrect the cache please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to another geocache in Cumberland State Forest and in particular, Swains Picnic Area in the north-east corner of the park. This is the perfect place for a family lunch or a quiet read of your book while listening to the birds sing - and then fly away as you search for the cache and disrupt the silence with the crunching of twigs and bark under your foot. I hid my first cache about 170m north-west of GZ on the Geocaching Australia site (Cumberland Creekside) in 2011 which is still there but there aren't as many members on that site so it barely gets found. This is one of four caches I have hidden in the forest which I hope will bring people to this great park.

The container is a small clear tub with blue side clips (as usual) and is hidden out of plain sight. It shouldn't be hard to find so try to resist looking at the emergency hint I have reluctantly provided. Also try to be stealthy (is that a word?) as cars drive past close by.

When you have found the cache, make sure you replace EXACTLY as you found it and put all the camo back as it was to make sure muggles don't see it. Have fun and happy caching :)
