The Tree Euphorbia, arikaans Gewone Naboom, latin Euphorbia Ingens is a distinct looking succulent. If you have seen the movie 'the Gods must be Crazy', you may remember the scene where the bad guy was hiding under a tree, and when bullets raked the tree the sap of the tree rained down on him, it caused him so much pain that he had to surrender. That tree was an Euphorbia Ingens, like this one. A succulent tree with white cream oozing from it when pierced. Be careful, this liquid is poisonous! It will burn your skin, cause severe pain and even blindness if it gets in your eyes, and it can be used to kill fish in a pond!
