This should be a fairly easy find (in a maybe obvious place?), but be careful -- this road can be a bit busy at times, as cars speed by. It is probably best to pull over and park on the gravel road (just don't linger long there either). Bring your own pen.
Within the state of Oregon there are several epic rivalries – the biggest one of course, is “The Civil War” – you let it be known whether you’re a Beaver or a Duck! Another epic rivalry locals within the Central Valley of Yamhill County are familiar with is the 2 neighboring towns & schools of Amity vs. Dayton! (Warriors vs. Pirates!) With this long-standing rivalry, both “3A” schools have won numerous State Championships in more than one sport – but what matters most is who’s won the latest local game, and who’s year it is to dominate!
When finding this cache you don’t have to pick sides, since it’s placed at a point half-way between the two towns, but (just for fun) when you log your find, declare your loyalty!
