This cache was placed in the winter along a snowmobile trail. It is our hope that spring will find it not too wet and poison ivy free. We created this as a roughly one mile loop. By parking at Dysarts at the corner of Griffin and Broadway, cachers wishing to do the loop should start with Aran. Suggested order would be Aran, Chimay, Callanish, Skye, Roma, Mdina, and Malta.

Mdina: Mdina is a beautiful walled city on the Island of Malta. It is one of our very favorite places. It’s history dates back over 4000 years and it believed to have been where St. Paul spent time when he was shipwrecked on the island. This medieval town is especially beautiful at night, when the streets are lit by lamps. It’s moniker, the silent city, suggests a peacefulness and quiet reflection. She does not disappoint. While there we learned a lot about this wonderful city while enjoying the multi-cache Mdina (GC21534).
We have named our cats after places we’ve been and fallen in love with. Mdina, our petite black girl, came to us in the winter months. After many weeks on the porch, she wormed her way into the house and our hearts.
Mdina and Mdina, the "Silent City"
