Parking may be found on Calle Rio Vista and Via Belardes. This is off of Alipaz.
The cache is hidden at the junction of some trails that are part of the Jan Juan Capistrano hiking/horse trail system in the San Juan Capistrano Wilderness Area. Here the PepperTree Bend Trail, the Oso-Rancho Capistrano Trail and the Shea Trail come together.
The Shea Trail is the connector to the Colinas Ridge/Colinas Bluff trails of the city of Laguna Niguel, and you can hike to this cache from those trails, but the terrain is more like a 2.5 and the return trip is all uphill. However, the view from the Colinas trails is wonderful! And there are other caches up there. So your route is up to you.
The cache can be seen while you are standing on the trail if you study the site. It is not necessary to remove or shift any objects, so please don't do that! When you find the cache, make a mental note of where you found it so you can tuck it back into the right spot. Thanks!
