The Jam Factory started life as a Brewery in 1858, by 1876 it had changed hands and was turned into a Preserving Company. It eventually operated under the brand Henry Jones IXL, and produced jam up until 1970's. A large brick chimney dating back to this era is still present and is visible from much of the neighbourhood. Alot of the small, back street houses in the area, are workers cottages, that use to provide accomodation for those who use to work in the markets, factories and tanneries that this area was known for. There has been significant redevelopment since. The cache will show you a different perspective of this area. At no time do you need to stretch over railings for this rather simple, film cannister sized hide. Please replace how you found it, and beware of muggles lurking nearby.
