Geocache Description:

This cache is a traditional cache that will bring you to a park near Johns Hopkins. Dogs are welcome. Parking all around, but its a short walk to the cache. Please make sure to close container tightly!

Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute
I hope it’s not a bore
I’ll tell you how I became the princess of a town called Baltimore

In northwest Reno born and raised
Drinking wine was how I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool
And all working real hard at graduate school
When I met a cool guy while visiting a friend
We hit off and dated until my grad career came to an end
Then one day we were chatting on Skype and he sounded real sure
He said ‘You’re movin’ in with me and my doggy in Baltimore

I asked him to my graduation and when he got near
We jumped in a van and put Reno in the rear-view mirror
As we drove ‘cross the country, I wasn’t quite sure anymore
But I thought, nah, forget it, yo homes to Baltimore!

We pulled up to our house about nine or ten
And I yelled to my man, “I guess this is it then!”
Looked at my kindgdom I was finally at the front door
Where I’d sit on my porch as the princess of Baltimore

I'm new to the area so what better time to place my first cache than in a place I have already frequented quite often. I often go to this park with our two dogs.  This particular cache is pretty special to me because I placed it with the help of my awesome boyfriend and my best friend visiting from Reno. She said this way I won't forget about her because I'll think about her every time I come to the park.  :)

This cache is approximately 3"x3"x5" and should be relatively quick to find. There are likely going to be muggles around, especially in the absence of snow, so please be stealthy. The cache is not immediately visible and will take a little snooping. The cache container is an index card box. Please make sure to close the lid as tightly as possible, return the cache as you found it, and make sure it is not visible or obvious.

Near this area is the Steve Pedersen Memorial Trail which winds along the river near Johns Hopkins. According to the city of Baltimore, Steve Pedersen is a frequenter of the park and has dedicated much time and effort to cleaning and maintaining the trails throughout Wyman Park. He does this so the park can be enjoyed by people just like you! So make sure to thank him by doing your part to keep the area nice while you are here. Maybe pick up a piece of trash or at least take your doggy's poo with you! There's a trash can near the entrance of the park.
