(In the photo above, Sparks is trying to get me to stop looking at Geocaching website and pet him. He eventually succeeded.)
Caver Scott was trying to sleep early one morning (like 2:00 am!) in 1997 when his dog woke him up barking at some noise outside. Scott thought he heard a meow, but when he went to check it out he didn't see anything. He tried to go back to sleep, but then he heard louder meows and the dog went nuts again… this time when he went out, there was a little black kitten making lots of noise and no longer hiding.
Caver decided to name him "Sparky" because of the "spark of life" he felt this little guy had for making so much noise, and the rest is history. "Sparks", "Mr. Sparky", "Sparticus", "The Sparkster", was a good and loyal friend. He was born around May 1, 1997. Sadly, our furry buddy went to the Rainbow Bridge on March 27, 2015.
