Geocache Description:

My favorite snake ;)

All of these hides are located within the confines of Lake Lowndes State Park. It is a $3 per vehicle entrance fee and if you get caught without dropping payment in the honor box when there is no one at the gate, you will get a ticket. They drive and check for payment tabs on parked vehicles, so you've been warned.

The hides: be prepared to hike, the first 30 hides took more than 10 miles hiked and thats not including the hike to and from the vehicle to get to the first of the group. To get these first 30, I figure it'll take 13 miles round trip from the parking lot, so plan ahead. There are trails everywhere but all the hides are well off the trails so you wont have to deal with muggles while making your finds. There's no correct way or trail to take and you can stop by the office and grab a trail map. All trails are color coded to help but like I said, there's no right or wrong way to attack these.

Nearly every hide is a preform tethered with a stainless steel wire and are hanging up at least 5' off the ground. These were hidden in a group effort with multiple people and multiple gps's. Coords were extremely tough to get on some of these hides and we have a lot of hours invested in trying to make all these happen. Each hide, with the exception of 2, have hints and are not hidden or covered up, so they should be spotted once you get close to gz. None of the preforms have baggies so it should be easy to get the log in and out. I don't want any stickers placed on the logs, they just cause maintenance problems later on. Preforms do very good but depending on their location, they can sweat on the inside and dampen a log at times. Carry spare logs if you'd like and feel free to drop a fresh log if need be. If I have continuous problems with same cache, I'll either move it a little or replace the container if need be and sometimes squirrels like to chew on the plastic.

Copy and paste logs are fine. I enjoy caching and giving back to the sport as much as I can. The one thing that I do ask, is that you enjoy your day on these trails, be safe, be prepared, and be aware of you surroundings, because you will be well away from help if you need it. Remember, you are in mother natures living room and she can be tough at times.

Any questions, feel free to message me and I'll reply as quick as I can.
