DNF on the County Line Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

chartmaker: Having disabled this geocache's neighbour to the south due to 'field enlargement' I decided to check on this hide as well. Alas, no sign of the geocache this afternoon nor the natural home in which the geocache had assumed its home for geocachers to come visit while seeking the hide. I have no option at this location except to archive this hide, one close to my heart. Rest in peace little micro cache. Mr. Farmer took just a little too much land on this latest plowing here and did not zig and zag here as in the past, just took a bee line right on through the little tree so the edge of his field was in a straight line. So long. You will be remembered by me for many happy thoughts. You were a cache of a different style, hanging more on a branch than a tree but you were loved by many who visited here just looking for a simple find.

Geocache Description:

This geocache was inspired by a DNF log on my geocache hide located immediately north of this location.

As the geocache north of here was recently logged as a DNF and a proper log of the DNF incident was written in the electronic log of that cache at the time I thought I would hide a geocache near that cache to give someone a reason to come back to the same area for an attempt on another geocache. Quite simply, my mind came up with the name 'DNF on the County Line' as there was a DNF and the geocache is essentially on the county line - hence - 'DNF on the County Line' seemed like a good name for this geocache located on the county dividing line at the Oxford and Middlesex border located along this sideroad. Nothing more to it than that my fellow geocachers. Now, I have given you a reason to come on out for a quick and easy find. We can all use one after the snow of this winter. Winter or summer this should be a quick and easy find. Enjoy an easy one on me.
