Preform hidden along "FR462 road";if you are going in sequence, this is still a bushwhack portion of the "road" but now you are past the worst part and the trail is intermittent.
What started off as a power trail for my jeep cacher buds, turned into a trail and finally a bushwhack in my attempt to connect various caching areas. The caches are accessible from Rt66; if you think the road too rocky, you can park at the suggested trailhead, otherwise you can park near cache #1 and save yourself a 1.5 mile walk at the begining and end of your hike.
All of these caches are covered preforms (except where noted) along what both my GPSr and phone say is FR462. The first three caches in this series are clearly on a dirt road; the next three are along a nice bike trail; hides #8-10 involve some bushwhacking uphill where it is obvious that FR 462 has never been (or probably ever will be). There are some intermittent trails and then you suddenly find yourself on the FR462 that goes around Cedro Peak and back down to the Chamisso picnic area and on to South 14. I took a different way back and placed some caches there too so you can make a loop of this; the trail back is a trail that brings you back to cache #2.
