Birch 5 is part of a small series of 5 traditional caches released on the Essex/Suffolk Piffle 20, celebrating St George's Day

St George and the Dragon

Part 5!

The King and the people of Silene converted to Christianity and, as promised, St George slew the dragon. On the site where the dragon died, the King built a church dedicated to the Blessed Saint Mary and Saint George. From its altar arose a spring which cured all disease.
