Gunpowder Falls State Park is only open from dawn to dusk. Please respect park hours.
As I was walking along the trail, searching for places to hide a geocache, I found this beautiful area of Gunpowder Falls State Park. This little stream is called James Park Branch on the MD DNR Trail Map
I couldn't find a spot on this island to hide this cache so you'll have to enjoy the view from the hillside. As soon as I saw it, that old Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers duet "Islands in the Stream" popped into my head. If you're old enough to remember it, you too won't be able to get it out of your head. It is truly a curse.
