This cache is located at the Hilltop Reservation in Verona. As you're driving down Fairview, keep an eye out for the sign for Hilltop. The road isn't marked super well, but if you keep your eyes open, you'll find it. Follow the road to a gravel parking lot and the cache is very nearby. It's a quick grab-n-go. While you're at Hilltop, why not take a hike, check out the scenery and find a few more caches! This cache is family and dog friendly!
I am hiding this cache as part of a project for my eighth grade science class. I hid this cache to teach you, my fellow geocachers, about an environmental topic. The topic I chose was air pollution. Air pollution is when chemicals and othe rharmful materials are introduced into Earth's atmosphere. It could possibly cause disease and death to humans. IT also damages living organisms. Acid rain is a type of air pollution found in urban areas, like where we live in New Jersey. Cars and planes also cause pollution. Air pollution can cause asthma and other diseases in people. Air pollution is really bad for us, and if we don't do something about it, it's going to affect us real bad in the future. Each of us can do our part to decrease air pollution. We can do this by carpooling, walking, riding bikes, taking public transportation and only driving when needed. Do your part to help make our air cleaner!
