This series of caches has been placed for the March 2014 Bicester And District (BAD) Geocaching Group Event in Marsh Gibbon. Obviously MG stands for Marsh Gibbon but also The MG Car Company Limited was a British sports car manufacturer founded in the 1920s and the cars were made in Oxford (Now the BMW Mini plant). This series of caches are named after some of those iconic cars.
Marsh Gibbon used to have two hamlets next to it; Little Marsh and Summerstown. This cache lays at the southern most point of Little Marsh however nothing of the hamlet remains. The only reminder that this hamlet was here is Little Marsh Road just to the north of the cache.
