There is very little historical information that I have been able to find on this cemetery, however I will just mention that there was a yellow house right next to the cemetery. It was lived in when I placed cache and as of April 17th 2015 the house has been torn down. Though the house was unaffiliated with the cemetery I remember wondering if at one time it might have been the caretakers home. You might see the foundation as you approach the cemetery.
Locating the Cemetery: The entrance road to the cemetery is off of Mima Road SW, at N 46° 52.159 W 123° 03.638. You will turn north on the cemetery road for approximately 0.2 of mile. There are no signs for the cemetery on Mima Road.
While there are no posted hours, out of respect for the cemetery I ask that you limit your search to DAYLIGHT hours only please. While you are here please take your time and look around. There are a lot of interesting grave stones and a lot of history to enjoy here, but remember to be respectful, since the cemetery is inactive or nearly inactive it is unlikely that you will run into any mourners, but please be respectful of the grounds and any possible visitors that might not understand what we are doing. While the cache is NOT located near any graves, it is inside the cemetery, but please know that there is NO need to disturb any graves or markers.
The hit should lead you right to the cache.
Congradulations goes to Philgeorge1 for the first to find!!!!
