The Pastor's Perch is in place for 3 reasons. The first is to celebrate my hundreth cache. The second is, I met the love of my life here, and this is where we got married. The third is, this place is dear to my heart (reason #2) and it has a lot of history associated with it that most may not know. This church began over 100 years ago where Lake Norman now exist. Duke Power purchased the land, and the church relocated and built in its current location. The building was errected in the early sixties. They are an old time traditional church with a mind and a heart for missions and have been since the beginning. One unique object that I have never seen on another church is the big red cross mounted to the front of the building which shines a bright red at night.
This is what most would consider a "gadget cache". You must push firm before you pull in the same manner that a Pastor would push and pull his flock toward righteousness.
