This puzzle will be super easy for some, may require a bit more research for others, but in any case hopefully will be enjoyable for you to solve, and bring back a few memories.
A few very famous actors began their careers performing on television commercials before somehow springboarding into the limelight, but of course that's been the exception not the rule. Those lucky breaks are rare, but if an actor can land an iconic role in a long-term ad campaign, they can earn a pretty nice paycheck for a number of years. But ironically it can also be a career limiter as well. The face may be famous but the actor himself or herself can remain a completely unknown talent. And since the actors face/voice will always be inseparable from the overexposed character and/or catchphrase for a long time, it's very unlikely that another brand will hire him/her. Still, I imagine it beats waiting tables.
