The farmer here likes it if walkers stick to the footpaths ... but I know you would do that anyway.... However, the footpath between SS9 and SS10 maybe be ploughed or planted with crops in which case you can elect to walk around the field edge or follow the line of the path in roughly a straight line between the two caches.
