I haven't hosted my own event in a few months so here is a perfect opportunity to host one at one of my favorite places. I will register this event to make sure we all get our Maker's Madness souvenir.
Join me and other Mad Geocache Makers at Damascus Coffee Shop on Coverdale Rd. in Riverview on April 2nd from 7-9pm.
My plan is to have everyone, who wants to play, make a unique cache and bring it to the event for a swap with someone else. We will then number each submission and then have those who brought one pick a number to determine which cache they get to take home, you can't take your own home so if you pick it you will try again. My only rule is it has to be something you put some effort into making, so no 35mm containers unless it is really unique and bonus points if you have it ready to go with log sheet and swag if possible.
As part of something that CachupNB is currently working on we are upping the ante. Zor and I will be judging the Geocache containers brought to this event and choosing 3 we like the best and meet our requirements. In exchange for these 3 "selected" caches we will present the owners with a $10 Damascus gift card. We will be looking for regular sized containers that are either good camo or creative, we can't tell you what we are using them for but you will be excited to find out when the time comes.These container will be hidden in the woods so keep that in mind when designing.
