They will meet in different venues in and around Pontardawe as the weather changes.
Cafés, picnics, beer gardens, BBQs are possibilities - even though they say they are grumpy, they are just like normal people and like pretty much the same things (even though they won't admit it.
In fact they have already booked the Riverside Centre in Glanrhyd for the Aug 4th and Sept 1st meets (they will be picnic events) :-)
You are very welcome to come along and join them for a cuppa and a natter.
Pontardawe is a great starting (or finishing) point for any Geocaching adventure. There are plenty of great caches further up the valley, or over in the Amman Valley. (Note to self, must create a bookmark list of must do caches in the area)
NB There is no compulsory requirement to be grumpy!
THIS EVENT
As Pontardawe and the Swansea Valley will be devoid of Geocachers over the Spring Bank Holiday - and they will all be here for the SW Camping Event, the committee have decided that the May Meet be held here at the SW Event!
Come and join us in a cheery grumpy farewell before heading off home.
We are unable to reserve tables in the Café, but the cafe holds about 30 inside and a further 40 can sit outside. You will probably find us outside if it is sunny.
One final note... Parking charges. (taken from the Cwm Carn website)
Car parking charges now apply throughout the site, £1 for 2 hours, £3 all day.
Diolch! Thanks!
