It seems most people have forgotten that this was once the location of the local AFL Club. If you take a walk around you can see part of the oval shaped hillside that formed the border of the playing field. Now this location is the site of the "Zone Centre" and a park area with a playground.
The Maroochydore AFL Club moved to this location in 1978 and came to be known as ‘The Regional Hub’. The official opening of the new playing oval took place on 16 April 1978. M.J. Ahern MLA (Landsborough) declared the ground officially open. The club moved from this site in approximately 2004 upon which time development for ‘The Zone’ Centre commenced.
My suggestion is that you find parking along Cumberland Way. The Cache is not located at the listed coordinates. At these co-ord's you are looking for a clue that, once deciphered, will lead you to the Cache. Once you get to the actual cache location, you will require a tool for access and your own scribble stick to sign the log. HAPPY HUNTING
Congratulations to Green Team 2 for FTF
