Geocache Description:

New note: The cache needs maintenance. One of my original large hiking boots seems to have vanished, but has been replaced by a sneaker. Unfortunately I'm not able to repair the cache, since I'm no longer on the beautiful island of Bonaire. Some people do still find the cache though, so I decided to keep the cache still active for a while. So I hope you will still enjoy searching for the lost shoe. If more people are unable to locate the cache, I'll deactivate lost shoe.

Lost Shoe on Bonaire is a two waypoint multi-cache. First find the right shoe and in there you'll find a hint that will guide you to the left shoe. The actual cache is hidden in the left shoe. So try to match my old and soleless pair of shoes! As on most cache locations on Bonaire, it's easy to park your car near by the first waypoint of the cache. After discovering the hint in the right shoe, continue and find the left one. Once you proceed to the left shoe, the suggestion would be not to use the direct approach in a straight line. If you do that, you'll risk the chance of getting your own shoes dirty and getting stuck in the mud. The ground on the dirt field seems dry and hard, but is most of the time surprisingly soft underneath.
