Dr. Wagner's Honey Hole Traditional Cache

This can be a quick PnG. Close parking possible. Highly visited area on weekends and 10-4 weekdays. Not so much early and late weekdays. Footing can be tricky and vegetation will of course be a bit thicker in summer. Please camo and replace as found.

This is a plastic ammo can on the edge of the Honey Island Swamp, where American Bald Eagles have staged an agressive comeback. FTF of this cache will find an FTF Geocoin. Items include a Flying-Eagle Geocoin, a 30-day Premium Membership coupon and other small knick-knacks. People from all over the world come here for tours of the swamp and river. Be on the lookout for a wide variety of wildlife, from frogs, turtles and snakes to wood ducks, anhingas, Bald Eagles, alligators, nutria, and, of course, the Honey Island Swamp Monster!
