Geocache Description:

Is this the beginninng or ending of your trail experience? Or just a drive by? Yes you can park here!

This is a nice trail on the River Fork Ranch: an 805-acre working cattle ranch and nature preserve at the biologically-diverse transition zone of the Great Basin and Sierra Nevada ecoregions owned by the Conservancy and home to the Whit Hall Interpretive Center, a community resource and hub for the preserve's trails.

My wife and I rode our bikes on the ranch trails in September and found this location to place a cache.  Enjoy the views and post if you saw any wildlife.  On our ride, we saw a blue egret, ducks, coyotes, hawks, cows and heard something jumping in the water several times.  On my birthday, we placed cache "East Brockliss Loop #1" at the other end of this trail. Enjoy!
