Geocache Description:

Heavily disguised lipstick holder, tweezers required

Following on with the theme of caches that have some personal meaning to me, this one is in an area where i frequented with my young family a few years ago mainly for walks and cycling..lived in this part of Motherwell for around 30 years as a boy and man.( Born just down the road in cottages that were there before a carpark to the nature reserve was made.

At one of the entrances to Barons Haugh where parking is very good just outside at tower, the cache is not far in and will require patience to find as it blends in with the surrounding area. The council have put up new gates at the entrance, this is the cleanest way to go but follow your gps for most direct route.. I lived around this area for many years, i still come back here often as this path leads to so many interesting features in Barons Haugh and the Dalziel Estate including the witches circle and the oldest living thing in lanarkshire, you could spend a day here and not discover everything, great for walkers and cyclists and the path takes you to several more caches in the area

The cache is in a piece of wood that looks like it has a handle like a rake or brush but not as straight...its on the ground lying against a small tree with mossy mounds very close by, If you fall over the edge or land in burn..you missed it...lol Congrats to Mr Bluesky in not giving up and being 1st to find on his 2nd attempt, well done.
