Dear Geocaching Friends!  All of us LOVE finding a really fun, unusual or challenging cache!  The purpose of this event is to share ideas amongst us "makers" of caches on how to make some fantastic caches!

Be advised:  The coordinates to the location are approximate.   The actual address to the park is 2100 S. 1300 to 1700 E. in Sugarhouse.  The fact is, it is before reservation season and so the pavilions are on a first-come basis.  We're going to get there early and try to get the pavilion called "Parley's Creek Pavilion."  It's by the children's playground and the creek in the middle of the park.  IF WE DON"T GET THIS PAVILION that morning, you'll just have to go looking for us.  We'll put up a big yellow Signal the Frog poster to help you spot us.

This event is being hosted by 4 "Makers" obsessed with making fabulous geocaches: Madambutterfly1822, Railroader921, ballkamper13 and cacheseekers.   We wish not only to share some of our best ideas with you but hope you will bring some of your best ideas to share with us!

There will be 3 parts to this event.

1.  MEET THE MAKERS:  The event will have a table where the event hosts will display some of their best caches and explain how they were developed.  We invite attendees to bring some of their best caches also.  We will provide a table where they can also display and discuss their work.  It is our goal to encourage cachers to get excited about going beyong the bison tube and coming up with some wonderful, creative hides of their own!

2.  WORKSHOP DEMOS:  Here you may observe some techniques on how to make some creative caches.  Madambutterfly will show the ABC's of making handcarved stamps, Railroader, famous for his puzzles, will share an idea or two on making some fun "brain-stumpers", and ballkamper13 and cacheseekers, experts in creating clever containers will demonstrate some favorite ideas.   If you want to join in, feel free to bring something of your own to demonstrate.

3.  COOKIES, PUNCH AND SHARE TIME   AT 3 p.m, the hosts are going to serve cookies and punch and invite an open meeting where we would love to hear your stories of some of your most memorable caching adventures.  We know some of you have found some fabulous caches and have had some real adventures in your travels.  We want to hear!   Prizes for best tales!

There should be plenty of parking and restrooms are available.

After you're done, go geocaching!  There are a half dozen really cool geocaches hidden in Sugarhouse Park.  Go get 'em!

Remember to log in your attendance so you can get your sourvenir!

Come have fun with us!  You will always have a good time at our events!

Judy, Dan, Darcey and Ted
