Geocache Description:

A stroll along a lake into a small plantation of Pine Trees.

You will be taking a short walk from your parking area along the shoreline of a tranquil little lake. If you look carefully, you will see bass coming to the surface to feed and splash. As you reach the far side of the lake, you will enter into a small plantation of Pine Trees. You will be transported out of the tropics as you see soft rolling hills within this forest of pine trees and instantly transported somewhere up North.  At your feet you will see the ground littered with pine cones and pine needles, as out of place coconuts lie on top of them.

Once you enter this 'forest', you do not have to go in very far before you come to an opening in the trees. Your geo-senses will start to tingle, and you will know you are near the GZ.

You will be looking for a small, camouflaged, lock and lock container. Look low, not high. The container is large enough for small items. Please be sure to place the container back just as you found it.

Watch out for the RED FLY!!! If you see him, please be sure to let us know - he will be keeping an eye out on this cache for us.

There is a small LED flahlight for the FTF. BYOP.

A 'Thank You' to Miami Dade Parks Department for granting us permission to place this cache and bring other fellow geo-cachers to Pine Island Lake Park to experience this Pine Tree oasis.

FTF Congratulations to Jeffgamer!"
