Geocache Description:

CEWC Anglers Point Hollow V

The Hollow V series of geocaches are all placed in hollow places or places with a V. For example they may be in a hollow log, hollow tree, hollow rock, or hollow something. Or, they may be on, in or near a V such as a V notch formed between two trees, a V in concrete, or a V formed by lumber. All are in natural areas or parks.

This is a regular geocache fitting the above criteria. It is placed with permission within the safety zone at  Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center (CEWC). The 6,400-acre Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center, managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, offers a variety of activities and programs.

CEWC offers geocaches located along several roads or hiking trails; the red trail, the blue trail and the yellow trail. Parking is found at two different locations and several trail heads begin at each parking area.  One parking area is at the Charlie Elliot Visitor’s Center and another at the other at the Brooke Ager Discovery Center and a parking area at this cache location.  All visitors to CEWC who are not part of Conference Center group need to have a GORP pass or a WMA license which can be purchased here.  Be sure to check out the Charlie Elliott Visitor’s Center while you are here.

More information about CEWC can be found at (visit link)

This cache is on the yellow trail.  It can be very difficult to get to or very easy depending your approach!
