Note that 2 short segments of the spur trail have been trampled over by a wide fire break, so you'll need to continue on the fire break in those spots to reach the next segment of trail. The fire break is composed of clumpy turned-up ground, so be careful and watch your step on it so you don't twist an ankle.
This is the last in a series of caches I've placed in this formerly under-populated side of Fremont Older open space. The end of the spur trail is not far beyond the cache site and is not a very scenic spot so I decided to place the cache here in a nicer spot. Bring your own pen for the log.
Update 7/9/16: Replaced the small bison tube with a standard decon container, which is much easier to see and grab.
Update 7/5/15: Replaced missing cache a short ways away down the trail from original spot. The cache is accessible without stepping in PO. As of today, short segments of the spur trail were trampled over by the recent fire break, so you'll need to continue on the fire break in those spots to reach the next segment of trail.
