Waingongoro Hut is a popular half-day tramp.

It takes about 1 1/4 hours from Stratford Mountain House or Dawson Falls Visitor Centre

Waingongoro hut sleeps 16 people if you wish to stay the night.

About 10 mins before the hut you will cross the Waingongoro swingbridge 24 metres above the ground.
