Geocache Description:

This is a small latte container in a common cache hiding spot. The road is marked no winter maintenance so use caution in the winter and early spring.

This container is not camoed because my Grannie liked the product the container held. As this cache is in memory of her I felt it should not be altered.

March 8 is my Grannie's birthday. She was born in the United States but her older siblings were born in Wales. She was always a lady and she  taught us grandkids to like tea and sit up straight among other things. She never passed up an opportunity for fun even though she always wore white. She would share stories of her childhood and some about the land of our ancestors, Wales. We all have pride for our heritage because of hers. We enjoyed visiting Grannie and Umpa's house because we knew we would get treats and privileges that we didn't get at home. She enjoyed taking walks around the block or to the park and I believe she would have liked to go on a few geocaching adventures.

As I was planning our caching trip today she was in the back of my mind so imagine my surprise to come across Welsh Road! It brought me to tears and my husband said that is where we should place our 200th cache. We wanted the 200th hide to have meaning and what better place and date than this.

When you are here take time to enjoy the water and take a minute to remember your loved ones who have gone on and if you want share a story in your log.
