Le Selve Traditional Cache

Nice short walk from Scandicci with a nice view. A big stone table is the ideal spot for a pic nic. It is an easy walk. You can park along Via delle Selve where you see other cars parked. Otherwise you can park in Via di Giogoli. Either way is around 1km walking.

Panoramic spot over the hills of Scandicci. View over the Arno valley. You can see Scandicci, part of Florence, Prato and Pistoia. Appennino mauntains and Apuane Alps are also visible when is good weather. There are two access points. One is from the hill of Scandicci Alto, just follow Via delle Selve. It says that is a private road but it is always open. I talked with some owner and they are friendly. People usually walk along the road. The other entry point is from Via di Giogoli, Coming from Scandicci, turn right just 100 meters after the Giogoli-Rossi villa. Follow the road until there is a big pine tree. Then go down for the dirt road on the right.

Una bella passeggiata con vista a Scandicci. Un grande tavolo di pietra è il luogo ideale per un picnic. E' una passeggiata facile. Puoi lasciare la macchina in Via delle Selve, dove trovi altre macchine parcheggiate, oppure in via di Giogoli. In entrambe i casi c'è da camminare per circa un chilometro.
