The trail brings you through terraced villages and then through pristine rhododendron forests, finishing the day by staying in Chisapani village, with spectacular views of the mountains, hiking back out the next day. Can also start many multiday hikes into the Langtang region from here, or do a cultural village trek continuing on from Chisapani to Nagarkot, then driving to Bhaktapur. Note: 250 Rs/person park fee. Cache is located on the northeast side of the pass (i.e. the Chisapani side). Find a large tree overhanging the trail about 10 metres from the pass, cache is located at its base. Use the trail on the SOUTHeast side of the pass to reach the ridge the tree is growing on to prevent further bank erosion and to keep the cache hidden.
