Quick cache-and-dash located along the Loyalsock Creek adjacent a popular area restaurant. On Sept 8, 2011 the Loyalsock creek suffered a devastating flood that destroyed this establishment and countless properties in its path. The restaurant rebuilt and is better than ever. Other homes and businesses are slowly rebuilding and life goes on in the beautiful Loyalsock creek valley. The following is a picture I took of the restaurant from across the creek three days after the flood. It looks considerably different today...
The original cache location was across the creek but there is no where to park there now so I moved it 7/7/24 and introduced a different container.
Cache container has only a log sheet so bring a pen/pencil. Sign it or take a picture of the log sheet and attach to your log if you are going to log as found. May be difficult to find in more than a couple inches of snow.
Please take time to visit the Pier. If the weather is good you can hang out at the outdoor area and you just may see some bald eagles!
