This cache is a way for one to prove that they have been there and done that! Below are listed the requirements. The area is part of the Elk Creek Fishing and hunting grounds. The WDNR has spent hundreds of hours restocking and developing the area for trout fishing.
Now onto the cache.
1. The cache is a matchstick container that is hidden close to the road. Parking is near the area. In the event of a flash thunder storm the water from the creek can rise fast.
2. To Qualify you must meet these rules. You must have logged a Find more than one state away from your home state. I live in Wisconsin and had a Find in South Dakota.
3. Please include a GC number for your find that you qualified with. (Our FTF was GC4NYHN Picnic Shelter #1)
4. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii You can claim the next state closest to you that you have will count. (we gotta give some breaks Travel is costly)
5. If the state away that you are claiming touches your state in any way Like the UP of Michigan touches Wisconsin then that does not qualify.
5a. Caches found in Canada or Mexico must be at least 100 miles from the nearest US border.
5b. If you are an international traveler you may log a find if you have had a find outside of the border of your home country
6. You must sign the log. We do not allow arm chair caching here. If your name is not on the log I will delete your log.
