Port Campionnet
Cette cache vous amènera au port de Digoin, le port Campionnet, appelé après les Maître de Forges de Gueugnon, en raison de son initiative pour la construction de la Rigole de l'Arroux.
Le port a commencé son service avec l'ouverture du canal du Centre, en 1793.
Il fut autrefois un port très occupé. Après l'ouverture du Canal du Centre a suivi les ouvertures du canal latéral à la Loire en 1838 et le canal latéral de Roanne à Digoin en 1838 le trafic a augmenté. Avec l'ouverture de la Rigole de l'Arroux en 1878 un trafic de plus échut au port de nouveau, parce que tous les biens des Forges de Gueugnon transportés Uniquement sur la Rigole. La Rigole rencontre le Canal du Centre pas très loin d'ici.
Parce que le transport de marchandises sur les canals est devenue moins, en raison de la competition du train, le port a été fermé en 1953.
Aujourd'hui, il est le "Port de Plaisance Guichard-Campionnet".

This cache will take you to the port of Digoin, the „Port Campionnet“, named after the Maître de Forges of Gueugnon, because of his initiative for the construction of the Rigole de l'Arroux.
The port began its service with the opening of the Canal du Centre, in 1793.
It was once a busy port. After the opening of the Canal du Centre followed the openings of the Canal latéral à la Loire in 1838 and the Canal latéral de Roanne à Digoin in 1838. The traffic increased. With the opening of the Rigole de l'Arroux in 1878 more traffic came to the port again, because all the merchandise of the Forges of Gueugnon were transported on the Rigole. The Rigole meets the Canal du Centre not far away from here.
Due to the competition of the train the transport of goods on the canals became less and the port was closed in 1953.
Today, this is the "Port de Plaisance Guichard-Campionnet".
You can go on guided cruises from here, which will take a few hours.

Der Hafen begann seinen Dienst mit der Eröffnung des Canal du Centre im Jahr 1793.
Es war einmal ein geschäftiger Hafen. Nach der Eröffnung des Canal du Centre folgten die Öffnungen des Canal latéral à la Loire im Jahre 1838 und dem Canal latéral de Roanne à Digoin im Jahr 1838. Der Verkehr erhöhte sich dadurch. Mit der Eröffnung der Rigole de l'Arroux im Jahr 1878 nahm der Verkehr wieder sehr zu, da alle Waren der Schmieden von Gueugnon auf der Rigole transportiert wurden. Die Rigole trifft nicht weit von hier auf den Canal du Centre.
Durch die Konkurrenz der Bahn nahm der Transport von Gütern auf den Kanälen ab und der Hafen wurde 1953 geschlossen.
Heute ist hier der "Port de Plaisance Guichard - Campionnet".
Ihr könnt von hier aus auf geführte Rundfahrten gehen, was einige Stunden in Anspruch nehmen wird.
