Cache is located off of Rt 26 south of State College near Whipple Dam State Park. Follow Whipple Dam Rd to the cache location. Cache is well hidden from view but can be found quite easily...especially with the clues.
The First Cohort decided to live and grow near Laurel Run. The stream is a beautiful mountain trout stream located on the Rothrock State Forest near McAlevey's Fort. The area has many nearby activities including hiking, fishing, hunting, and biking. Day use and picnic facilities are available. The Penn State Forest Research Center at Stone Valley is close by as well. Come say hello, and spend part of your day. I'm sure this fingerling will be happy here.
