Cette plage se trouve sur la commune du Carbet: Accès juste à l'entrée du bourg en venant du Sud par la N2 après le rond point.
LE SITE :
Au nord de la Martinique, sur la côte caraïbe, l'Anse du Carbet, la Plage du coin est une très belle plage de sable fin oscillant entre le blanc et le gris s'étend sur près d'un kilomètre le long du bourg du Carbet. Large et agréable, elle accueille de nombreux bars et restaurants qui proposent pour certains des matelas et transats. Les eaux habituellement calmes de la mer des Caraïbes invitent à la baignade mais l'on perd rapidement pied et les enfants en bas âge sont donc à surveiller. Le sable est gris, Montagne Pelée oblige ... On est en effet à quelques kilomètres seulement du terrible volcan qui dévasta en 1902 la ville voisine de Saint Pierre. L'endroit est propice aux jeux de plage: Balon, Frisbee, Beach-Volley. L'Anse du Carbet, ombragée par de nombreux cocotiers, fait face à la mer caraïbe. Le plan d'eau est habituellement calme mais la plage peut être violemment battue par les vagues lors des coups de vent de nord, nord-ouest, heureusement pas très fréquents. Dans l'histoire de la Martinique, l'Anse du Carbet est un lieu important. Lors de ses voyages exploratoires, Christophe Colomb aurait débarqué ici en 1502. Surtout, c'est là que commença la colonisation de la Martinique, avec l'arrivée en septembre 1635, d'un groupe d'aventuriers français menés par Belain d'Esnambuc.
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous arrivez sur le site en utilisant le parking prévu pour cette plage, la cache est MAGNÉTIQUE et de Petite taille est placée non loin de la plage. Faîtes preuve d'une grande discrétion et de précautions une fois sur le site suite aux nombreux baigneurs surtout le week-end.

This beach on the municipality of Carbet: Just access to the entrance of the village by coming from the South by N2 after the traffic circle.
THE SITE :
In the North of Martinique, on the Caribbean coast, the Anse of Carbet, the Beach Plage du Coin is a very beautiful fine sand beach oscillating between the white and the grey extends on near a kilometer along the village of Carbet. Wide and pleasant, it welcomes numerous bars and restaurants which propose for some of the mattresses and the deckchairs. Usually quiet waters of the Caribbean Sea invite in the bathing but we quickly go out of depth and the very young children thus are to be watched. The sand is grey, Mount Pelée obliges... We are indeed in some kilometers only of the terrible volcano which destroyed in 1902 the neighboring town of Saint Pierre. The place is convenient to beach games: Balon, Frisbee, Beach volleyball. The Anse of Carbet, shaded by numerous coconut palms, makes in front of the Caribbean sea. The stretch of water is usually quiet but the beach can be violently beaten by waves during the blows of wind of the North, northwest, fortunately not very frequent. In the history of Martinique, the Anse of Carbet is an important place. During its exploratory journeys, Christopher Columbus would have landed here in 1502. Especially, it is there that began the colonization of Martinique, with the arrival in September, 1635, of a group of French adventurers led by Belain d' Esnambuc.
THE CACHE :
When you arrive on the site by using the parking lot planned for this beach, the MAGNETIC Small-sized hiding place is placed not far from the beach . Summits proof of a big discretion and precautions once on the site further to the numerous swimmers especially the weekend.
